What we do
Scilla AS specializes in top management consulting, both strategically and operationally, and is also involved in management team building exercises.
My philosophy is to have a deep value set under strict confidentiality, never mentioning our client´s name, with 3 main pillars: Integrity, Insights and Impact.
Scilla only operates when there is top management commitment, and tries to combine strategic thinking with analytical capacity, and has a clear route for implementation.
The current assignments involve the following:
Development of strategy and business plan with growth initiatives
Development of organization and top management structure
External and internal benchmarking within some specific areas
Development of a stronger online and direct-to-consumer offering
Development of brand strategy and positioning, and a commercially oriented sustainability position as part of this
Work for shareholders and stakeholders to clarify the mandate and the ownership strategy
Improved sourcing terms through fact-based analysis and actual negotiations
A new methodology for category development
Leadership development for top management teams-Lunch-to-lunch concept
Individual coaching and mentor program for selected leaders in the organization
Advisory role in evaluating and selecting the right recruitment firm for Board, CEO, and top management searches
Our lunch-to-lunch concept
Our lunch-to-lunch leadership concept has already been completed with two leadership teams with great feedback. The session runs from lunch-to-lunch where the purpose is to form an even more united, stronger, and committed team. The methodology is based on a session Jaan Ivar Semlitsch was part of during 2018 with UK professors, and the concept is the first one to be rolled out in Scandinavia.
If you are a newly appointed CEO or you have been in the position for several years, or you are in a top management team and you would like to take your team to a new level, this might be one area to look at. It doesn't matter whether you have a small team or a big team, a small or large division or you are in a start up or a big company. But you need to be comfortable being in an open atmosphere and that there is mutual trust and respect in your team. Chatham House Rules exist as a prerequisite for making each team member to have the full confidence and trust.
The session starts 12 pm with an informal lunch at Hotel Gabelshus at Frogner, a small boutique hotel established in 1912 (first 33 years led by Miss Sofie Sommerfeld until 1945), but now fully renovated, and finishes the day after 12 pm. In addition to the team building excercises, we end the first evening with a special dinner with a special chef. Please note the team exercises are not involving "building Lego or walking on hot burning coal", in many ways "old school" team building, but is founded on academic research and the session takes place at the different meeting rooms at the hotel. If you would like to know more about this concept, please contact jase@scilla.no or post@scilla.no.
